JESSIE G "Sometimes true musical talent just cannot be denied, even when it's found in the sleepy fishing town of Brookings, OR," says Grammy award winning artist Gretchen Wilson about Jessie G, the first outside artist signed to Wilson's Redneck Records.

Jessie's heritage spans four generations of commercial fishermen. She spent much of her childhood aboard the hand-built family boat. Hard work runs in her blood.

It's doubtful that Jessie knew winning a Battle of the Bands contest to open Gretchen's Portland, OR tour date would literally change her life. Upon hearing Jessie sing, Gretchen invited her onto her tour bus and urged Jessie to begin the journey that every young country singer-songwriter must embark upon - she moved to Nashville.

Jessie immersed herself fully into writing, teaming with some of Nashville's best, and spent countless hours in the studio working on her sound. Discovering the true art of songwriting under the watchful eye of Gretchen and her multi-talented friends and collaborators, Jessie realized the true depth of what she wanted to say.

"These new songs have helped me find my voice and who I am, both in the writing room and in the studio. This has been one of the biggest growing experiences both personally and in my career," Jessie says.

Gretchen is very proud that Jessie is signed to Redneck Records, where she serves as Jessie's co-writer, collaborator, producer, label head, tour mate and friend.

The new single "Whatever This Is" is a beautiful song co-written by Jessie, Gretchen and Sarah Beth Terry about carefree - no pressure - fun - youthful love.

"Whatever This Is" is getting big spins on radio stations in El Paso, TX, Albuquerque, NM, Portland, OR, Eugene, OR, Nassau-Long Island, NY, Orlando, FL, Seattle, WA..just to name a few..and is already charted on the Indicator and Music Row charts. The video for "Whatever This Is" debuted on CMT, is on The Country Network and on hundreds of other video outlets. In addition to opening all of Gretchen's shows in 2019, Jessie G opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd & Bad Company, and Sara Evans in October 2019.

Gretchen Wilson Gretchen's latest single and video was "Stacy," from the Ready To Get ROWDY album. The video was filmed back home in Gretchen's hometown of Pocahontas, IL, with locals as the extras. The video is on CMT. Our new Redneck Records artist Jessie G was in the video and had a good line to Gretchen, "Some of those girls in your hometown don't know how to FAKE fight!"

Gretchen recorded 2 different live shows for SiriusXM in 2019, one for Y2Kountry and one for Prime Country (Christmas). The Y2Kountry show debuted on March 17th.

Gretchen toured in 2018 and 2019 with Jessie G opening. Jessie will be opening Gretchen's shows in 2020 as well.

Gretchen recorded the amazing duet "Bad Feeling" with her friend Kid Rock on the Ready To Get ROWDY album. Gretchen was in Bill Anderson's "Waffle House Christmas" video with Kid Rock and Tanya Tucker.

In 2014, Gretchen stepped away from the road to be a full-time mom to her daughter, now a freshman in college.

In 2014, Gretchen released the live album and DVD STILL Here For The Party.

Gretchen released three albums in 2013. The first was a collection of 13 new songs called Right On Time. Under The Covers included many of classic rock's most memorable hits from the 60s and 70s. Later in the year, Gretchen released her first full Christmas album, including the fun sing-a-long "I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas."

Gretchen was featured in ESPN's telecasts of the 10 races in the 2013 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. She narrated and appeared in the opening teases.

Gretchen guest co-hosted The View on April 25, 2013.

2012 saw Gretchen on one of the year's hottest tour packages, the Gang of Outlaws Tour with ZZ Top and 3 Doors Down.

Gretchen's "I'd Love To Be Your Last" single was one of the most impactful songs of her career. The single took on a life of its own at radio and with fans and resulted not only in television appearances on The Talk and The Tonight Show, it also received Grammy nominations in the "Best Country Female Vocal Performance" and "Best Country Song" categories.

Gretchen embarked on Xtreme Music The Tour with Big & Rich and Cowboy Troy in June of 2011. The unique tour saw all of the acts share her band on a stage that included a bar as the centerpiece.

Her first single for Redneck Records, "Work Hard, Play Harder," was reminiscent of the hits that helped gain her national prominence and hit the national Top 15 in 2010.

Multi-platinum recording artist Gretchen Wilson left her longtime record company Sony Music in July 2009 and formed her own record company, Redneck Records.

Gretchen Wilson exploded onto the country music scene in 2004 with her smash hit "Redneck Woman" and has since scored three #1 albums with Here For The Party, All Jacked Up and One Of The Boys.
