Jesse Erin as Roy Orbison
Jesse Erin is an award-winning tribute artist who has been performing his tribute to Elvis since 1997, primarily performing locally in Wisconsin, where he resides.
Jesse's first competition was in 2003 at Potawatomi Bingo Casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, hosted by Kurt Brown, where he won first place twice during the four-day event.
Since then, Jesse has performed all over North America, from Las Vegas to Texas to New York, and at many different venues throughout Canada and the United Kingdom. Jesse is the 2009 Images of the King World Champion and a four-time top-two finalist at the world's largest Elvis contest in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. He is also recognized by Elvis Presley Enterprises and has earned a spot in the Ultimate Tribute Artist Contest semi-finals, sponsored by EPE, six times since the contest began.
In 2013, Jesse won the world's largest Elvis competition, the Collingwood Elvis Festival, and walked away as Grand Champion.
In 2023, Jesse won the Windy City Tribute to the King Competition in February, earning the title of King of the Windy City! In June 2023, Jesse reached another significant milestone as an ETA (Elvis Tribute Artist) when he competed and won the Tupelo Elvis Festival in Elvis Presley's birthplace, Tupelo, Mississippi. In 2024, Jesse competed in the Smoky Mountain Elvis Tribute Festival in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and walked away as Grand Champion, earning him another spot in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Competition during Elvis Week.
Jesse's tribute to Elvis is truly special. His fellow ETAs respect and admire his talent, and Jesse loves being surrounded by his friends in the Elvis community. Jesse has also added a tribute to Roy Orbison in his performances, which has caught the ears and eyes of baby boomers, making him one of the country's premier Roy Orbison tribute artists.
Jesse has received two letters of commendation from Wisconsin governors, recognizing him as a role model and credit to his state for producing and performing benefit concerts for veterans and the Special Olympics, a cause dear to his heart. Jesse wants all Elvis and Roy fans to know that he is just a fan, expressing his respect through entertaining audiences with his favorite artists' music. Jesse's goal is not to "be" Elvis or Roy, but to create new fans and educate them about the world's greatest entertainers: Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison.
